Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the tt_add_tz_work_fn(), tt_zone_unregister_tz(), tt_zone_add_trip_work_fn() and tt_zone_register_tz() functions in drivers/thermal/testing/zone.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
