Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to resource management error within the do_mmap() function in mm/mmap.c, within the memfd_wait_for_pins() function in mm/memfd.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
