Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the timerlat_top_main() and close() functions in tools/tracing/rtla/src/timerlat_top.c, within the timerlat_hist_main() and close() functions in tools/tracing/rtla/src/timerlat_hist.c, within the osnoise_top_main() function in tools/tracing/rtla/src/osnoise_top.c, within the osnoise_hist_main() function in tools/tracing/rtla/src/osnoise_hist.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
