Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to resource management error within the nft_netdev_unregister_hooks(), nf_tables_register_hook(), nf_tables_unregister_hook(), nft_unregister_flowtable_hook() and __nft_release_hook() functions in net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
