Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to resource management error within the wilc_bus_probe() and wilc_bus_remove() functions in drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/spi.c, within the wilc_sdio_probe() and wilc_sdio_remove() functions in drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/sdio.c, within the wilc_netdev_cleanup() function in drivers/net/wireless/microchip/wilc1000/netdev.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
