Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists due to improper processing of crafted Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) frames. A remote attacker who is able to establish an AMQP connection to a targeted device can send specially crafted AMQP frames, trigger a segmentation fault (segfault) condition and cause the device to shut down.

Update to version 0.8.1 or 1.0.0.
