Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition no the target system.
The weakness exists due to heap-based buffer overflow in the de_dotdot function in libhttpd.c. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted filename, trigger memory corruption and cause daemon crash.
