Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the fuse_readpages_end() and fuse_readahead() functions in fs/fuse/file.c, within the fuse_check_folio() function in fs/fuse/dev.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
