Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error. A local user can submit a crafted input file to be processed by the objdump program and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
