Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the coders/webp.c source code file in the IsWEBPImageLossless function due to boundary error. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted image file, trigger memory corruption and cause the application to crash.
