Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions.  A local malicious user could potentially modify files inside installation folder during application upgrade, leading to privilege escalation.
