Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the unregister_nvdimm(), match_cxl_nvdimm() and cxl_pmem_region_probe() functions in drivers/cxl/pmem.c, within the cxl_nvdimm_release() and cxl_nvdimm_alloc() functions in drivers/cxl/core/pmem.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
