Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the me_huge_page() function in mm/memory-failure.c, within the hugetlb_mcopy_atomic_pte() function in mm/hugetlb.c, within the hugetlbfs_read_iter() and hugetlbfs_migrate_page() functions in fs/hugetlbfs/inode.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
