Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to use of less trusted source. A local user can perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack to eavesdrop upgrade requests and execute a malicious DLL with custom code.
