Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the firmware_upload_unregister() function in drivers/base/firmware_loader/sysfs_upload.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
