Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the virtblk_result(), virtio_queue_rqs(), virtblk_complete_batch() and virtblk_poll() functions in drivers/block/virtio_blk.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
