Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause DoS condition or gain elevated privileges on the target system.
The weakness exists due to improper array bounds validation in the kernel mode layer (nvlddmkm.sys) handler for DxgDdiEscape ID 0x100010b,that allows a local attacker to write to kernel memory, leading to denial of service or potential escalation of privileges..
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in denial of service or privilege escalation.
