The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to conduct spoofing attack on the target system.
The weakness exists due to insufficient security restrictions. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted password-reset request, conduct domain spoofing attacks and gain access to potentially sensitive information.
