Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
The weakness exists due to improper permissions check in the kernel mode layer (nvlddmkm.sys) handler, that allows a local attacker to gain access to arbitrary physical memory, leading to an escalation of privileges.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in privilege escalation.
