Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause DoS condition or gain elevated privileges on the target system.
The weakness exists due to improper validation of input/output length in UVMLiteController Device IO Control handling in the kernel mode layer (nvlddmkm.sys) handler, that allows a local attacker to trigger denial of service or increase privileges.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in denial of service or privilege escalation.
