The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the snd_card_ad1816a_pnp() function in sound/isa/ad1816a/ad1816a.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
