Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the fxls8962af_buffer_predisable() function in drivers/iio/accel/fxls8962af-core.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
