Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper locking within the ksmbd_find_crypto_ctx() function of the ksmbd component when handling SMB2_SESSION_SETUP commands. A remote attacker can send specially crafted data to the ksmbd daemon and perform a denial of service attack.
