Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Remote Access Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) EAP-TLS. A remote user can trick a victim to open a specially crafted COM object like an .rtf file and gain elevated privileges on the target system.
