Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the RADIUS proxy feature for IPsec VPN when processing IPv6 packets. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted packets to the system, trigger memory corruption and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
