Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the amdgpu_driver_postclose_kms() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu_kms.c, within the amdgpu_drm_release() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/amdgpu_drv.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
