Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the mask_cidr6() function in cidr.c. A remote attacker can send specially crafted packets to the application, trigger memory corruption and crash the application.
