The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read error within the rtl9300_i2c_smbus_xfer() function in drivers/i2c/busses/i2c-rtl9300.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
