Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows SMB Client. A remote user can wait for a user to initiate a connection to a malicious server and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
