Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the build_socket_tables() function in arch/x86/kernel/apic/x2apic_uv_x.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
