Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to stack overflow within the __rcu_irq_enter_check_tick() function in kernel/rcu/tree.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
