Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to an error when processing SNMP traps within the Windows SNMP Service. A remote attacker can send malformed SNMP traps to the affected service and cause the system to stop responding.
