Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerability exists due to heap-based buffer overflow via fortips driver. An authenticated local ipsec user can execute arbitrary code or commands via "fortips_74.sys" driver. The attacker would need to bypass the Windows heap integrity protections.
