Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to bypass implemented security restrictions.
The vulnerability exists due to improper management of cache coherency by the CPU. A local user with hypervisor access can overwrite SEV-SNP guest memory, resulting in loss of data integrity.
