Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper certificate validation in the OTA Update functionality. A remote attacker can use a specially crafted .tar file, perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack and perform a firmware downgrade on the system.
