Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a MitM attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the application allows device identifiers to be changed during handshake in core/backends/lan/lanlinkprovider.cpp. A remote attacker can perform MitM attack and gain unauthorized access to the system.
