Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the cros_typec_get_switch_handles() function in drivers/platform/chrome/cros_ec_typec.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
