Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper error handling within the ring_buffer_map_get_reader() function in kernel/trace/ring_buffer.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
