Description
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the mpi3mr_probe() function in drivers/scsi/mpi3mr/mpi3mr_os.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's repository.
