Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to use of uninitialized resource within the __ip6_make_skb() function in net/ipv6/ip6_output.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
