Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.

The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the ImageItem_iden() function in image-items/iden.cc. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted file to the application and perform a denial of service attack.
