The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the ptep_zap_swap_entry() and gmap_helper_zap_one_page() functions in arch/s390/mm/gmap_helpers.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
