Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

The weakness exists in the TMOS Shell (tmsh) due to improper information control. A remote attacker can gain access to potentially sensitive information via the dig utility.

How to mitigate CVE-2018-5520

Update to version 12.1.3.2 or 13.1.0.6.
