Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the Snort 3 Detection Engine. A remote attacker can send specially crafted SSL packets to the affected system and perform a denial of service attack.
