Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper check of return value in ASoC SDCA component when handling device entities. A local user can trigger memory allocation failure conditions to cause a denial of service.

Successful exploitation requires access to system-level components that interact with SDCA device entities.
