The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
The weakness exists in nl80211_set_station due to buffer over-read when user space application sends attribute NL80211_ATTR_LOCAL_MESH_POWER_MODE with data of size less than 4 bytes. A remote attacker can gain access to potentially sensitive information.
