Improper validation of integrity check value in XMLSecLibs - CVE-2026-32313
Published: April 24, 2026
XMLSecLibs
Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information and modify encrypted data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of integrity check values in AES-GCM decryption of encrypted XML nodes when processing encrypted XML content. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted encrypted node with a truncated authentication tag to disclose sensitive information and modify encrypted data.
The issue affects XML nodes encrypted with aes-128-gcm, aes-192-gcm, or aes-256-gcm.
