Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds access in kvm_arch::phyid_map::phys_map[] when handling an empty EIOINTC coremap in eiointc_update_sw_coremap(). A local user can trigger this condition to cause a denial of service.
