Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper memory section annotation in the hantro probe path when probing the driver as a module. A local user can trigger driver probe operations to cause a denial of service.

The issue occurs because data referenced from non-init code is freed after module initialization and later accessed during probe, including probe deferrals or unbind-bind cycles.
