Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in smbdirect_socket recv credit management when processing incoming smb direct receive completions. A remote attacker can trigger credit mismanagement to cause a denial of service.
